Part of the AQA GCSE Combined Science curriculum.
AQA GCSE Combined Science 6.2 Electricity is a step-by-step online learn guide for GCSE students in Years 10 and 11, mapped to the AQA specification (AQA GCSE Combined Science: Trilogy (8464) – 6.2 Electricity). It covers circuits, charge and current, potential difference and resistance, resistors and I–V characteristics, series and parallel circuits, mains electricity and energy transfers and the National Grid, then brings it all together with mixed retrieval and exam practice.
There are 20 short steps of about 15 minutes (roughly 5 hours of learning), each made of bite-size explanations with key words, tables and examples, and every bite-size is followed by an activity you check straight away. Key terms include Closed loop, Current, Potential difference, Resistance, Ohmic conductor, Filament lamp, Series circuit, Parallel circuit, Direct pd, Alternating pd, Power and Energy transferred.
