How to use a GCSE Computer Science mock paper

  1. Sit it timed

Set a timer for the real exam length, close your notes and answer every question, even if you have to guess.

  2. Mark it honestly

Use the mark scheme, or ask your teacher to mark it. Note every question where you lost marks.

  3. List your gaps

Group the lost marks by topic. Your three weakest topics are where revision pays off most.

  4. Fix the gaps

Work through the learn guides for those topics, then try the questions again a week later.
